The Internet isn’t a friendly place for kids.  It is full of pedophiles and cyberbullying.  The best thing for parent is to talk to their children and ask them if someone they don’t know has asked to talk to them.  Parent also need to talk about social networking sites like Facebook and Myspace.  You should ask your children if you can see their page or even ask them how to use the site.  The more you understand how to use the site the better advice you can provide.  Don’t worry about your own computer security today talk to your kids and make sure they are safe.
